The Core SWX 8″ PD Pro to Sony FX DC Input Cable is designed to provide a seamless and reliable power connection between Core SWX Powerbase Edge SNAP (PBE-SNAP) batteries or other Core battery packs with PD Pro and Sony FX6/FX9 cameras.
 
This high-quality, 8-inch cable features a PD Pro connector on one end and a Sony FX DC input connector on the other, delivering 19.5V regulated power to keep your FX6/FX9 camera running efficiently. Unlike many other power cables on the market, this cable is designed without an in-line converter box, making it a much more streamlined solution that eliminates unnecessary bulk and clutter on your rig.
 
Engineered for maximum compatibility and durability, the cable ensures stable, uninterrupted power delivery, eliminating the need for traditional AC adapters or multiple power sources on set. Technical Note
Core’s PD Pro is a highly adaptable power platform designed to support a wide range of auxiliary video and audio devices, offering flexible power output solutions tailored to various production needs. While the PDP-USBC cable allows the connected device to determine the necessary voltage, all other PD Pro cables deliver a fixed voltage pre-set by Core for each specific application. These fixed outputs are optimized to ensure peak performance for your devices.
 
It’s important to verify that your devices can handle the fixed voltage provided by PD Pro cables, similar to how you would with an unregulated P-Tap cable. For example, while unregulated P-Tap cables may output a wide voltage range (11-17V DC), a PD Pro cable designed for 12V 2-pin LEMO input devices consistently provides a regulated 15V output. This mid-range voltage is carefully calibrated for balance and efficiency, ensuring neither excessively high nor low output, maximizing device stability.
