This V-mount kit includes two NANO Micro 50 battery packs, one X2 Mini charger, and one RED V-Raptor sharkfin/hotswap plate.

The Nano Micro and X2 Mini are quite possibly the smallest battery/charger combo on the market today. The Nano Micro 50 which are quite possibly the smallest style pack on the market today. Measuring in at less than 4″ in height and 1.5″ in depth, while weighing a feathery 0.8 lbs., the NANO-V50 is the perfect “grab and go” pack for powering on-board monitors, recorders, wireless tx/rx, etc., while still being able to handle lighter camera powering applications like RED Komodo and Canon Cinema builds when utilizing the proper mount plate.

The 14.8v, 49wh capacity allows for the packs to be transported carry-on without restrictions under IATA, ICAO, and UN regulations. The packs have been UN tested and certified, passing UN38.3 certification.

The Core Nano Micro packs feature an on-board unregulated p-tap which can be used to power most 12vdc devices, as well as doubling as a charge input port. The packs also include a 5V, 3A USB for powering/charging mobile devices, and a 4-stage LED gauge to view remaining power.

The X2 Mini offers a simultaneous 1.5A charging as well a “Fleet Rapid Charge” bay. When only needing to charge one battery pack, place it on the rapid charge channel for a 3A charge, and take advantage of the Fleet series charge time (one 98wh pack in under 2.5hrs.) Trickle charge maintenance program ensures the batteries are always at maximum capacity.

The CXV-TS-VRAP connects to the v-mount of the DSMC3 Raptor to allow you to attach two V-mount battery packs(full size, mini or micro) to the rear of the camera. Different from some other plates, the all aluminum build of this plates makes it feel like part of the camera. The build quality is next level and we have added some new features on this plate we’ve never done before.

Since the Raptor outputs are found on the rear of the camera, this hotswap allows you to slide out the right side mount plate to the proper depth so as to not block the inputs and outputs of the Raptor camera. The set screw then locks the positioning in place allowing you to accommodate any size battery packs. A storage slot with magnetic hold keeps the allen key in place to reposition at any time.

Choose between discharging both battery packs at the same time equally or one and then the other. To draw from both batteries equally, switch the button to the “I I” setting. When the switch is in the “I+I” setting, it will draw power from the camera operator side battery first, and then move to the other. Either way you choose, you can still hot swap batteries to keep continuous power going to your camera and accessories. All mode changes should be done prior to camera startup. The switch is deactivated once power is being draw from the plate.
