CORE SWX EXPANDS THE HYPERCORE BATTERY SERIES WITH NEW HYPERCORE XL

PLAINVIEW, NY, JULY 24, 2018 ─ Core SWX, a leader in battery and charging solutions, announces Hypercore XL, a 293wh capacity battery pack. The Hypercore XL maintains all the features of the Hypercore line in a larger capacity design to provide operators with the ability to support up to 20A loads.

“Larger sensor cameras and high output lighting are requiring more power then in the past, so we had to provide a solution to both support and provide extended operational times.” Says Darren Moonan, Sales Representative, Core SWX. “As the market and powering requirements change, we will continually evolve our product line to support.”

Not only will the XL battery pack be the highest capacity offered in the Hypercore lineup, it will also be the highest load outputting, supporting up to a continuous 15A load draw (20A peak for 2sec). Given the super high capacity, the pack comes in at 3.4lbs and a size of 3.8” x 5.87” x 2.95”.

As with all Hypercore offerings, the XL battery pack will be available in both V-Mount (HCXL-V) and Gold Mount (HCXL-AG) and include of all the unique features of the rest of the line such as the multipurpose backlit runtime LCD delivering remaining runtime and charge time down to the minute, storage mode, a powertap, USB, and compatible charging. Core SWX Gold mount offerings are compatible with Anton/BauerTM chargers firmware V3.6 and up, and the V-Mount offerings are compatible with SonyTM, IDXTM, and many others.
